About

The HIV Care Services Program within the Sexual Health Promotion Unit at the Sacramento County Department of Health Services is the recipient of Ryan White Parts A and B funding, as well as Ending the Epidemic federal grant funding. The Sacramento TGA Planning Council works closely with the recipient to ensure that the Ryan White Part A funding is utilized in a way that best serves the HIV/AIDS community in the region.

Mission

The purpose of the Council is to provide effective and efficient planning for the TGA to promote development of HIV/AIDS health care and support services that meet regional needs. The Council seeks to address these needs in a cost-effective manner in ways that reduce inefficiencies and redundancies. Emphasis is placed on the identification and engagement of the uninsured, underinsured, emerging afflicted population and all disenfranchised groups living with HIV.
